On November 3, 2021, Prof. Dr. Malin Angsurangsee, Executive Director and Chairwoman of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, represents S&J International Enterprise Co., Ltd. at the SET Awards 2021 to receive the Sustainability Excellence Award in the category of Highly Commended in Sustainability Awards. The Stock Exchange of Thailand and Money & Banking Journal organize the event to recognize publicly listed companies with outstanding sustainability practices. For instance, companies with a good corporate governance system, transparency towards stakeholders and consideration for societal and environmental growth in addition to their economic growth.

We are excited to announce that S&J International, as the only Personal Care and Cosmetics manufacturer in Thailand, are now a certified member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

The RSPO certification is an assurance that the standard of palm oil used in the product development and manufacturing process is sustainable and comply with a strict set of environmental and social criteria developed by RSPO. When following these criteria, the impact of palm oil cultivation on the environment and communities is minimized.

In addition to becoming a certified member of RSPO, we have on numerous occasions been recognized by the Thai Stock Exchange and FDA for our commitment to continuously work towards progress as an environmental steward in Thailand.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable energy source available and we are proud to announce that 60% of S&J’s total electricity consumption is now from solar energy generated within the Saha Group Industrial Park.

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are important components of S&J’s culture and values. We have over the past years been working hard to combat climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions while meeting consumer demand for clean and reliable energy in the manufacturing process.

After having recently been awarded “The Overall Best Award”, “Outstanding SET Sustainability Award” and “The Thailand Sustainability Investment Award” by the Stock Exchange of Thailand, we are extremely honored to have been selected by the SET, as the only Consumer Goods company in Thailand, to share our commitment to the SET’s guidelines.

We are pleased to announce that the FDA of Thailand recently awarded S&J International with “The Overall Best Award” for 2020. We are extremely proud to be the only cosmetic and personal care company in Thailand to receive this award. The recognition is based on the following criteria:

We have enacted a work from home policy, segregation of working teams, thermal testing and similar measures. The pay and benefits to our employees will remain in place including for any employees who will need to go on COVID-19 related leave. We have been lucky so far as none of our employees have tested positive for COVID-19.

Thirdly, please know that cleanliness and sanitization have always been a big part of our operation and we already follow strict guidelines. However, due to the current situation, we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and adding to our current supply of cleaning and sanitizing materials to ensure a complete sanitized environment throughout the course of the day.

Forth, our customer and supplier teams will continue to support and interact with you, our business partners, on a frequent basis. We at this point in time would prefer to have video conference calls, other non-physical interactions such as email and similar, but be rest assured our teams stand ready to support you on a daily basis.
